AMT Aquires Time Compression
Posted on: 12/7/2011
Dear Time Compression Subscriber:
AMT-The Association For Manufacturing Technology recently acquired all assets of Time Compression magazine, which has recently ceased print publication. However, AMT is committed to developing and maintaining a relationship with the additive manufacturing community. To begin, you will notice the following developments:
1) The Time Compression web site will continue. AMT will retain TimeCompression.com and focus the site as the online industry resource for the additive manufacturing community. AMT will continue to add new content over time, as well as maintain an archive of past articles.
2) AMT is also welcoming additive manufacturing companies into its membership. AMT represents and promotes the interests of American providers of manufacturing machinery and equipment. Members receive a host of benefits, including access to custom market research, business advisory services, industry-specific events and networking opportunities, an exhibitor discount at the International Manufacturing Technology Show and more. Please visit the AMTonline.org web site for more information about AMT.
3) AMT will sponsor an Additive Manufacturing magazine supplement. Gardner Publications is expanding their longstanding coverage of additive manufacturing in both Modern Machine Shop (www.mmsonline.com) and Moldmaking Technology (www.moldmakingtechnology.com) magazines. They are launching a quarterly magazine supplement in 2012 that will exclusively focus on additive manufacturing technology. AMT will act as the official sponsor of the supplement. Please visit the magazine web sites if you would like to become a subscriber.
4) Additive technologies will be featured in the renowned Emerging Technology Center at IMTS 2012. The ETC is the place that educates visitors about some of the most exciting and ground-breaking technologies in manufacturing. After a successful appearance in the ETC at IMTS 2010, Additive is returning, giving it heightened visibility within the manufacturing community. For more information on IMTS 2012 and the ETC, please visit IMTS.com for the most up-to-date information.
We sincerely hope that you will look into the benefits of AMT membership and reach out to us to learn more about what we have to offer.
Sincerely,
Douglas K. Woods
President
