Kubotek (www.kubotekusa.com) has released two versions of new stand-alone CAM software, the two-axis KeyMachinist Mill 2 and three-axis KeyMachinist Mill 3. The software features an easy to use interface to speed the processing of design and manufacturing data into fast tool path generation. It also features simple drawing and detailing, automated processing of data sheets, animated tool path verification and a configurable post-processor. KeyMachinist Mill can work with a multitude of native and imported file types such as SolidWorks, Pro/E, AutoCAD, Inventor, NX, CATIA 4, KeyCreator, CADKEY, Parasolid, ACIS, IGES, STL, OBJ and STEP to read files from more customers. The software is priced at $1,295 for KeyMachinist Mill 2 and $2,495 for KeyMachinist Mill 3.
