The Screwdriver Gets a Makeover
The screwdriver has been around for some 500 years. Given that, one might imagine that it isn’t exactly an object pregnant with new development opportunities.
But the folks at Melco Direct (“Better Products for a Better Life”) have come up with “My T Driver,” a torque-driven ratcheting device capable of driving through hardwood, sheet rock, composite materials and metals.

The ColorRanger E camera from SICK Sensor Intelligence (sick.com) uses MultiScan technology to measures contrast, laser scatter, and RGB color at up to 3072 pixels per channel.
It also measures 3D shape through laser triangulation, with 3D and color information up to 11 kHz.
