DataPage+ Includes High-tech Features
Hexagon Metrology (hexagonmetrology.com) has put a new twist on its DataPage product. DataPage+ is a PC-DMIS integrated SPC software that provides meaningful and timely feedback to the shop floor to reduce waste, eliminate bottlenecks, and streamline manufacturing processes. This results in measurable savings in time, resources, and money.
Features include an SQL Express database format, seamless integration with PC-DMIS (leading metrology software), run charts, histograms, and a powerful feature that integrates CAD data into a customizable, interactive report format.
“The CAD integration in DataPage+ is its most unique feature,” says Ping Fang, product manager for DataPage+ at Wilcox Associates, (wilcoxassoc.com), the PC-DMIS developer. He continues that the CAD integration allows “ the user to rotate and zoom a solid representation of the CAD model live within the report, reorganize the data flags and select what type of data they display. It’s taking what was once a static presentation of data and making it dynamic and interactive.”
The initial release of DataPage+ is developed for small to medium businesses that need a robust SPC package that can be used with a coordinate measuring machine (CMM), laser tracker, or other system. Later, versions for enterprise and supply-chain level workflows will be released.
