Marine Turbine Technologies’ (www.marineturbine.com) Turbine Streefighter super bike packs a Rolls-Royce Allison turbine under its frame with as much as 420 hp and 680 Nm of torque for a top speed in excess of 248 mph. Priced at +$175,000, the Streetfighter is constructed using a tubular aluminum alloy frame, with a full carbon fiber fairing and 17-in. carbon fiber wheels. An enhanced cooling system tames the engine, while the 8.9-gal. fuel tank—capable of running on either diesel or kerosene—provides enough power for a few miles.
