Improved RP Materials
Two newly released rapid prototyping (RP) materials are Objet Geometries’ (Rehovot, Israel) TangoPlus® FullCure 930, a durable rubber-like resin whose elongation at break is more than double other available RP materials on the market, as well as DurusWhite® FullCure430, which offers a Notched Izod Impact of 44. 22 J/m and simulates the mechanical properties of polypropylene. Both materials are available from Design Prototyping Technologies (East Syracuse, NY), which also offers RP and low-volume manufacturing services.
