ANSYS

ANSYS 12.0 software examines a part through multiphysical modeling, or multiple stress factors, to examine how well it will perform out in the real world.

PDQ Product Simulation

ANSYS 12. 0 from ANSYS is a virtual canvas for engineers to quickly paint multiple product simulations, measuring anything from structural mechanics to fluid and thermal dynamics to electromagnetics.

ANSYS 12.0 from ANSYS is a virtual canvas for engineers to quickly paint multiple product simulations, measuring anything from structural mechanics to fluid and thermal dynamics to electromagnetics.  The core of 12.0 is the ANSYS Workbench 2.0 platform, said to help users create, visualize, manage, automate, and repeat simulations to more promptly prove and/or evolve product designs. The CAE software also connects via the ANSYS Engineering Knowledge Manager, a collaboration tool that lets multiple users to evaluate their designs from their own individual engineering discipline.

Jim Cashman, ANSYS president and CEO, describes it as a tool to help engineers “design higher-quality, more-innovative products that are manufactured faster, and at a lower cost.”
