Tooling Board Offered

New sheet sizes are available for the rigid polyurethane tooling boards offered by General Plastics Manufacturing Co. (www.generalplastics.com). The FR-4500 tooling boards are now offered in 24 x 60-in. sheet sizes. Various thicknesses—up to 12 in.—are available, as well. The finished boards come in 30-, 40- and 50-lb./ft3 densities. The board cuts easily and is said to generate little dust when machined. It is compatible with many adhesives, coating, paints, and tooling materials. Applications include modeling, styling, mold tooling, and pattern-making.
