The Time Compression Hardware Zone includes information on enabling equipment for rapid product development. For classical rapid prototyping and manufacturing processes that includes equipment for 3-D printing, fused deposition modeling, selective laser sintering, stereo lithography and others. But it also includes more traditional equipment deployed in a rapid product development environment such as machine tools, cutting tools, plastics processing equipment, forming equipment and tooling. The Hardware Zone also covers equipment deployed in reverse engineering including scanning and other product data acquisition equipment.
